Art Festival

Class was cancelled last Thursday since we got home so late on Wednesday.  So of course, I went to the beach.  It was fantastic.  Have I mentioned that I love the beach? :)

Then in the afternoon, I went with Vanessa and her family to an art festival.  It was super cool!  I don't remember the exact name of the festival, but it's the biggest one in Latin America.

They had tons of booths (not even exaggerating--we walked around for like 4 hours and I felt like we could have stayed even longer), with the name of the state or city their art was from (since different regions specialize in different things, you could buy something and know where that art form was unique to).  They also had a really cool international section, with booths labeled for different countries.  I didn't buy anything, but here are some cool pictures!  (Take only memories, right? :)

Hey Danny, this alligator is for you!  Well, the picture anyway.  It was a giant wooden alligator but it was like 7 feet long.  So...sadly, I didn't buy it.  But it's the thought that counts, huh? :)

They have these cool stick-your-face-in-a-hole-and-take-a-picture things everywhere.  I'm getting a lot of these kinds of pictures...but I still really like them :)
